Our Mission Statement
We are committed to providing quality, non-discriminatory childcare and educational services to the general public. Our goal is to help parents and guardians be gainfully employed, go to school, or focus on their child's educational and social development. We are delighted that you have chosen to tour our webpage and consider our Early Learning Centers for your child’s care. The matter of your child’s safety and care is not taken lightly at our centers. We know that you want the best for your child, and we're here to provide it. We believe that every child deserves a safe, fun, and exciting educational environment. Our programs are designed to meet the developmental needs of each age group for which we care. We want all children to have the opportunity to reach their full potential. That's why we offer a variety of programs and activities that are designed to help children develop their social, physical, cognitive, communication, and preschool enrichment skills. Creative Play’s staff accomplishes this enrichment through the use of our classrooms and learning centers. With your support we can make your child’s experiences at Creative Play & Preschools, Ltd. a positive and long lasting one. |
Our philosophy
is simple. To be creative requires a child to look at things from a positive point of view. Children are naturally creative, born with the ability to question, dream and wonder. We will support your child's creativity by providing them with a variety of media to explore. Our program is planned according to each child’s age group. Children will be encouraged, but not forced, to participate in various learning activities including music, art, imagination play, games, indoor and outdoor play and creative learning with staff supervision. Experiences will be presented in such a way that children will want to participate, rather than feeling pressured to learn. Open Door Policy Each of the staff members at our center meets or exceeds the requirements set by the State of Alaska for caregivers in a child care setting. In addition, each staff member meets our own requirement for having a genuine love for children. When it comes to childcare, we put an emphasis on patience and cheerful dispositions. We have an “Open Door” policy and parents are welcome and encouraged to visit their child anytime. |
